Not sure where to post this but does anyone else think there is a link to wearing footglove shoes/comfort soles and intense foot cramp and then pain in big toe? I have been absolutely fine for months until back to wearing these kind of shoes. I am having difficulty finding the right kind of shoes.

Not my field of expertise I am afraid, but yes, it is more than just coincidence..........there would seem to be a direct link in your case.
I have severe arthritis in my feet and footglove shoes do me no favours whatsoever - i.e. cramp and arthritic pain. So yes, I think the shoes are no good for you and you need to seek an alternative. I find footglove very shallow over the toes and arches. If you have problem feet do some research. I'm OK with Birkenstock, some Clarks shoes and Fitflop makes, but there are other makes such as Echo, that might be better for you.
it might be because they are relatively flat, i have similar problems with changing shoes, like trainers which are comfortable back to sandals which are flatter, so hurts feet, legs. Either that see a podiatrist to see if you have something like fallen arches.
And also if your toe is hurting it would indicate to me that your shoes are too narrow or that you have an arthritic big toe joint (which isn't unusual)
Shop around.
for "Echo" read "Ecko"...
ginge do you mean Ecco?
Ha, ha. Thank you Ginger!!
and em ;o)
that is the shoe company Ecco, they are very good but very expensive.
Correct, em! just knew it wasn't Echo.... and I have two pairs!

waws, is that your company by any chance, or coincidence...
advertiser just knew it.
Footglove are very soft but don't have a lot of support, maybe that's the problem?
Actually I find my footglove shoes very comfy, and i've got quite wide feet with fairly high arches - we are talking about the footglove shoes from M&A, aren't we?
