lumbago....what is it exactly?

I think i have the above, will see the doc today. it was brought on after a nights sleep, whilst getting dressed, i simply felt powerless, all across the lumber region.it took an hour or so and 1 improfen later, and i struggled to move.
what will the doc suggest?

It is a symptom.....not a disease and you have described it very well.

You can Google the causes but almost all are no big deal.

He will probably suggest continuing Ibuprofen and also light exercise whatever you can do.

MYOLASTAN 50mg

DEXKETOPROFEN 25mg.
Hi sqad, these are the pills prescribed to me yesterday by my doc. yes copied from a word document.
Routine treatment for lumbago.

Myolastan is a muscle relaxant.
Dexketoprofen is a NSaid....similar to Ibuprofen (but not as good;0)

my problem is i´m not a big fan of taking pills, and more pills. strangely enough the pain doesnt hang around, it comes and goes, but when it comes, its torture, i´ll buy the myoloxan today just in case.
