Am I missing something here?
The dairy farmers are protesting at the price they are selling their milk at but I would have thought that they, as the producers of the products, (sorry cows, you know what I mean), should tell the buyers what prices they are going to charge. Not the other way around.
Or is the price set by the powers that be?

the supermarkets hold the power
British farmers must compete in the European market. Tesco, Asda etc. call the shots .

Thanks. It may not be practical but I'd tell 'em where to go.
Unfortunately the farmers can't as milk isn't a product which they can stockpile.
