I have found progestogen cream helpful but not a complete cure but the hrt made me worse. If you do a search on progestogen cream you will come up with the website a pot costs 30 quid and lasts 2 months. Shoud confirm that i have nothing whatever to do with the company!!

Black cohosh, from health shops is supposed to work wonders for some of my friends.

agnus castus , black cohosh , wild yam root - all supposed to be good.
Femal is def good for the night sweats.
soya isoflavones good for menopause generally
Diet wise any foods rich in natural oestrogens.
I have found black cohosh to be the best for me personally but would love to find something that works even better.
The health shop could suggest many things guichard, as do all of us, but not everything works for everyone. There is probably a good homeopathic remedy in the shop .. so easy to use ..to add to the suggestions  you already have.
I found with myself that certain foods can trigger hot flashes. Apples, would you believe give me a really bad one. Any food that generates heat in the body and/or converts into sugar can bring it on. So for me anything starchy and/or sweet. Proteins and vegetables ( except potatoes), don't affect me.
I have a friend who has been on black cohosh for a long time and she never gets hot flashes. Just don't overdo the amount taken.
Hope you find something to suit.
a drug called dixarit -prescription only
sage tea is supposed to be good..either make it with a few leaves out of a sage bush in your garden..or buy some sage and just make a teaspoon of dried to half a cup of boiling  water leave it to cool down strain and drink..liqourice is also good for hormones..

any type of "guided fantasy" can have a limited effect, and is great anyway. in some ways *like* a relaxation technique, but focussing specifically on physical functions. you can probably google some sources...

also: ginger worked wonders for my mother.

black cohosh from health food shops, brilliant stuff!
Try soya milk instead of cows milk, I'm sure that it helps me.
