I got my wisdom teeth on one side take out last week unter general anasthetic.

I've been feeling a lump in my cheek that is very sore. At first it felt like stitches but now i'm not sure. I cant my mouth open wide enough to get a good look.

What can this lump be? Should I go to the doctors and see about it.

Could it be bruising from having wisdom teeth out?
It'll be a bruise, there's not many places in the jaw for bruising to go.
Sounds like it my be infected, go to docs, should prescribe antibiotics if so.
I'd go back to the dentist if anywhere, they can look and make sure it's OK - they can give you a prescription, too, if you should need it.
It sounds like part of the natural healing process to me. I would take ibuprofen for the pain (and more importantly inflammation) and keep and eye for about 3 days at least. You`re not going to have wisdom teeth out with no after-effects.
I agree with 237SJ.....no need to bother the doctor at this stage and if you feel well in yourself, e.g no temperature, then antibiotics are not needed.
just ordinary bruising by the sound of it. I had some deep drilling done a couple of weeks ago and my jaw's taken all this time to go down.
