How's the no smoking going Crafty? Are you still on the E-cigs? I've recently come across this forum whilst Googling, and joined. Their advice regarding E-cigs is invaluable and they've very helpfully helped me choose my next upgrade.

My E-cig whilst helping me to combat cigarettes, doesn't give me enough ooomph or the vapour plume when I "smoke" them, so i'm eagerly awaiting my new one to come via the posty.

To anyone else considering giving up smoking and switching to 'vaping' I highly recommend this site.

just not on a bus on the motorway, presumably. Hope it's going well.
I bought one of the ELites to try. Got a menthol one as only smoke menthols but like you, not enough oomph and they have a strange menthol taste which menthol cigs don't.

I was debating trying the lights in them but not sure if they would be too strong or increase my taste for nicotine - struggle with things like the smint like things as too strong a taste -I couldn't smoke full strength cigs and even a lot of lights are too strong for me now.

I find it weird them not going down and end up trying to hide it in my hand as the end glows green when dragged - I know you can get the red ones though.

Yeah jno, it's going ok. I'm not going to lie, it's a struggle, but a bearable one.

As I've said, i'm in the process of moving up from the looky like type ECig to one with a bit of welly. You can also get some fabulous juices, im currently 'vaping' (ooo look, a technical term!) cappuccino flavour, it's yummy!
smoking cappuccino, that should save you money at Starbucks
Question Author
Jenna- have a look around that forum, some fantastic advice and I can see why the vast majority of users now prefer ecigs to the real McCoy.
I always have to smell tea bags when I open the tin - my son say's I'm a tea junkie. Am I 'vaping' tea bags BOO.

Good luck Gal xxx

"Am I 'vaping' tea bags BOO."

No, you're just weird Lottie.

;-)

And thanks xxx
I stopped at New Year and it's been going OK, but my OH is really, really struggling. He decided to switch to roll-ups, the theory being that they'd be such a hassle to make that he wouldn't bother. But all that's happened is that he's become really quick at rolling up and has yucky yellow fingers.

B00, I really like the idea of flavoured vapes (if there is such a word). I'll investigate these as they might be worth Mr Frog trying. He really does want to stop, but can't manage it

They're called juices (oooo get me!) Kiki, and if you look on that site, there's a sellers list, the juices you can get is mind boggling.

I admit, the initial outlay is pretty steep, the one im waiting on delivery for is £35.00, but when I gauge it against the cost of fags not to mention my health and the smell etc, it's a no brainer.
That's really useful, B00, thanks for that. It might be expensive, but I reckon it's an investment if it helps Mr Frog give up. It'd be even better if they did Carling lager flavour - kill two birds with one stone!
I looked at the site and the juices BOO. They do a 'real coffee' juice but no 'Tea' juice :o(

Me, weird, never!!! ;o)
Question Author
lol kiki!

Juices are averaging about a fiver, and by my reckoning could maybe last a week? The cost of them is wayyyyy cheaper than one pack of fags which last what...a day?

I've got two juices here waiting for my new ECig Lottie, an apple flavour an cotton candy which smells like candy floss.
How do you 'smoke' juice BOO. Just curious. Do you fill up the e-ciggy with it and just inhale the flavour?
Question Author
you smoke them, as you would a normal cig Lottie. What you get is a sort of tabacco flavour but it's deliciously mixed in with whatever flavour you're using.
Oooh, thanks lovely. I've not given up but I'm using a basic e-cig at work and so have cut down to about 5 ciggies a day (if that, it was 3 yesterday) as smoke when I get home. It's not been too difficult but there's a certain time in the afternoon where I get a little 'tense'. I think if I was going to quit completely though I'd need something with more va-va voom than the basic one I've got as they do seem to make a difference. The only thing I find a bit odd is the size of them as I prefer rollies so a normal ciggie feels big to me let alone an e-ciggie, I hold them in quite a bizarre fashion when I use mine!
Question Author
With the more ooomphy type ones CD, you can't hold 'em like a normal ciggy as they're massive. but to be honest, as long as it gives me that nicotine hit and allows me to blow "smoke" im prepared to put up with it.

If you're serious CD, I can't recommend that site enough, the help and advice they give is invaluable, the only problem is, I can genuinely see vaping becoming a hobby, lol.
China Doll - just out of interest, is your workplace OK with you using e-cigs? I know it's perfectly legal, but does it bother other people (particularly those who have to go outside to smoke the real stuff)? Just curious.
Question Author
from what ive read (hopefully will find out myself in next couple of days) the big guns in ECigs are 100% times better than the looky likeys.
Question Author
kiki- i do mine in work.

I admit though, i do wait till there's no customers in the queue and none can see me as it looks odd. The boss so far hasn't told me not too, and its perfectly legal.
Thanks BOO. Perhaps I need an E-cuppa to help me over my Tea addiction!! x
