Hi everyone.
This isn't really a specific question but I would be interested to hear how this gloomy summer weather is affecting those of us who suffer SAD during the winter months.
It just seems as though the light levels are very low under all the cloud-or is there still enough natural light getting through? I certainly feel rather low at the moment-day after day the sun doesn't appear! And then there's the question of lack of vitamin D-should we be taking extra supplements?
Best wishes,

I don't suffer from SAD, and am generally a very happy, upbeat and positive person but I have to say this continuously dismal weather is really getting me down now. I don't think we need to worry about vitamin D yet though, I would imagine we would a far greater lack of sunlight than we have had.
as a fellow sufferer of SAD , ive found myself no going out as often as i would in the summer months, and wasting time on the net :( :(
I think its getting everyone down but I dread to think what it must be like to have your house flooded - poor things, it must be awful for them. I then try to count my blessings. :)
It's just so tedious and utterly miserable... I can't believe it's actually July. I hope we have a nice August and September to make up for it.

Thanks for the replies- it isn't the best summer ever is it! Just driven home from work and needed the headlights on at 5.30! Yuk! My OH isn't usually bothered by the weather but even he is a bit gloomy. But, as Ann86 said, it must be horrible to have been flooded out!
Have a good evening
