Try 'Phrases and Sayings' topic.  There is probably a poster who can help - 'fraid I can't.  I have noticed the same posters coming up a lot there, ones who are into words and phrases.

I'm wondering if you're meaning Hering's Law. Try this link.

HERRINGS LAW sounds very fishy to me!

HERINGS LAW explains the difference between the development of a disease and the healing process.

What is Herrings Law of Cure?

The body will heal from the head down, from the inside out and in the reverse order of disease. This will happen in stages, over time, and there would be times of strengthening when a person feels really good and times where symptoms would reoccur as the body released toxins with its increased energy.

Hope this helps, sounds a load of nonsense to me!

Is it nonsense to say that the healing process is promoted by positive thoughts and attitudes? The head is where healing starts in a physiological sense in that as the major nexus of the nervous system it controls the action of the body, even to a cellular level. To heal we must first believe that we can heal. Mostly this is automatic, but not always.

We must not suppress any discharge as we release toxins from the body. Healing genuinely works from the inside outward. Cut you skin and a scab forms to protect the regeneration of tissue from the inside, until al is complete. If you accidently eat bad food you will feel bad and your stomach will throw it back out again, from the inside out. Suppress this discharge and you prolong the suffering.

In any disease there may be more than one symptom. Effective physicians see the symptoms as indicative of the disease and treat the whole person from a perspective of knowledge of disease and a model of health. Ineffective physicians treat symptoms as separate and unconnected outbreaks of body malfunction and apply a patchwork of remedies,  missing the real cause of the symptoms.
