tens machine

Just got a tens machine from the hospital to see if it helps with pain from degen disc (c5-c7). If I use 4 electrodes in the shape of a square do the 2 negatives go on top and positives on the bottom?

They should have told you this at the pain clinic. Give them a quick call and ask just to be on the safe side. I always remember mine because it is; 'red to the front and black to the back', I have to have mine on my front and back chest due to nerve pain.
