Have looked on google but can't find my answer. Is it safe to take both these meds. One is for vertigo and the other is an antibiotic.

Thank you, bellazella.
I've taken similar together. They have different effects. Prochlorperazine (stemetil) works on the brain, antibiotics work wherever they are needed. The leaflet in the box will tell you about contraindications - or wait until tomorrow and ask at your chemist if you want to be 100% sure.
PS do you mean Amoxycillin, I imagine so?
I'd hazard a guess that the prescribing doctor would have checked for any potential problems before writng the prescription.
I've taken both together too fine if Amoxycillin. I had more of a check yesterday when a nurse was getting me an antibiotic prescription for an infected surgical wound which won't close - he said not to take the stemetil with the clarithromicin (sp?) he gave me - different antibiotic that.
