almost constant spot with painful swelling on nose septum

It goes and then comes right back again had to months now and it is very painful impossible to touch so you can see the annoyance of it. Is it normal to get a spot on the septum?

If your diagnosis is correct, then it is extremely uncommon to get an infected spot on the nasal septum.

Of course one can get a "boil" on the "skin part" of the inside of the nose.

See you GP for an accurate assessment.

unfortunately I work full time and have little or no access to a doctor, but thanks Squad for your help with this, much appreciated, yes the spot/boil is right on the line of skin you see under the nose, not inside for anything.
Right..noting too serious....sounds like a small sebaceous cyst which gets infected from time to time.a course of the appropriate antibiotic would settle it.
