Do you ever find things that you haven't seen for ages, and they still fit?

I know we don't really grow after about 18 (except outwards!), but when I try on something I haven't seen for years, and it still fits ... I'm still oddly surprised.

This week, looking for something else at Mums's, I came across a bag with my old dancing shoes. I'm not sure why, but I brought them home, and they still fit.

Well, they would, I suppose.

They have these sort of felt textured bottoms. They're a bit precarious to walk around in.

Do you ever find things that you haven't seen for ages, and they still fit?

Did I ask that already? (scrolls up ...) ... aah, yes, I did.

Good answer.
"felt textured bottoms"

< wanders off for cold shower >
My elasticated waistband still fits a treat.
Socks
I've still got my wedding dress (haven't got the heart to get rid of it) - you've got me wondering now if it would still fit.
My socks still fit me and my headbands, not that I wear them much these days !
Nope. Found an old pair of jeans the other day. After a couple of years in the wardrobe, the length is still fine but they've definitely shrunk around the waist!
I have a scarf that still fits a treat...:-)
I still have my first ever biking leather jacket - it's a bit 'slimfit' now - but I can just get the zip up if I only have a t-shirt on ... and don't breathe too deeply
Condoms.
It's nice when you find something in the wardrobe that fits, after a couple of years of being waaay too small!

Dave ...

I'm struggling to find any erotic possibilities in "felt textured bottoms" ... LOL

Sounds a bit furry!

Moony ... they are SO useful for vegging out!

Mrs_O ... curiously, mine seem to shrink, and get a bit tight (unless my feet are getting fat, LOL).
yeah i never grow :(
Felt, as in past tense of feel, JJ......

Boxy ... err, yes, I suppose so.

I was feeling them a few minutes afo, and thinking ... "ooh, felty!"
I've got a pile of clothes from about 16 years ago that not only fit, they are in fact a little on the baggy side. Designer too I think - they all say Mothercare on the label.... ;)

LOL kazzamac

(I hope that's a maternity gag ... otherwise I've totally missed the point, LOL)
It is - after I pressed submit I wondered if folk might think I could fit into baby clothes ;)
Having had a curious peak and fall in dress sizes it is less to do with what still fits and more to do with what fits again...

I'm not sure when wide leg trousers will make a reappearance but I do have my eye on the Armani suit that has never been sent to the charity shop! It is timeless and I will wear it again.
