Has anyone any knowledge on any homeopathic remedies that may help 'ease' this condition?  Doctors advice also being undertaken, just want some tips on natural remedies that can be undertaken at home that may help.  I've heard that Fennel Tea is supposed to be good for reducing the size of the prostate, any other tips gratefully accepted!!  XX

soya in the diet is excellent for this you can obtain at health shops..bee pollen and garlic are also of benefit..echinacea and gotu kola ..vitamin a vitamin c vitamin e calcium selenium and zinc.....you should not have cocoa.alchol.sugar.coffee and tea should not be drunk strong as it inhibits absorption of iron..less fat and more wholegrain cereals fruit and veg..you could also try fenugreek tea as this soothes and cleanses the urinary tract..parsley is also another thing you could try.raw pumpkin seeds are also of benefit..hope any of these help.

thanks!

tomatoes, tomatoes and then some more tomatoes!

My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer two years ago and he eats as many tomatoes as he can. When he went for his last check up, the doctor was astonished to see his count thingy (PSA?!) had actually gone down!. Obviously we're all thrilled and dad's convinced it's 'cus of the little love apples!

Crisgal - hanks very much for that, i'll pass the info on, much appreciated! X

hiya

there is a physiotherapist working in edinburgh called Bill Taylor who has developed a natural cure for prostate problems which is apparently very effective, and he receives referrals from the local hospitals etc as well as having given seminars and training to other specialists in this field.  His company is called Taylor Physiotherapy in Edinburgh, so you could try calling and speaking to him.

PORTOCAT - thanks for that, much appreciated!  any other info on this man, like a contact number or e-mail address??  If not, i'll try to track him down some other way...yellow pages, perhaps?  Any suggestions?  Thankyou again, X
