Out of date ventolin

My inhaler is dated expiry august 2010- is it safe to use? Thanks in advance :)

I wouldn't - the chemicals may have destabilised. I don't mind using meds which are a few weeks out of date, but not 14 months.

It will probably have lost its effectiveness - safety is a secondary issue
