While the SPCA won't be able to help you directly, they might know of a charitable organisation in your area (or just a generous vet!) who might be able to help you. Phone them on 03000 999 999.

Similarly, while your problem is outside the scope of the Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society, somewhere there might know who can help you. Phone 01764...

Google PDSA. I believe they offer free treatment.

thank you i will have a look just now

it says i cant get it cause of my address
yes, if you are uneployed then can register with the PDSA, and then get free treatment, there's sur to be a vet doing this in your area!.......have a look for one near you.......don't let the poor little guy suffer!...
Be prepared to plead your case strongly with the PDSA. While, as a charity, they clearly have only limited funds, they do seem to have some rather bureaucratic policies. For example, they (theoretically) only assist people who live within certain postcode areas (close to their treatment centres). Further, they seem to expect people to register with them for possible assistance BEFORE a problem arises. I've known people who've persuaded PDSA to 'bend the rules' on occasions but you need to be prepared to beg!

Good luck!

i looked on the website it said that there isnt a pdsa practice in my area :( o dont know what do to im so worried i dont want me wee man to suffer :(
Whereabouts are you?

Well sorry Chris, but a friend of mine was suddenly unemployed, and his dog was ill, I advised him to apply to the PDSA for help, and there was no problem at all, the dog was treated, and he was only asked to pay what he could afford, which was very little, as he was on unemployment benefit at that time......he now has work again, and can pay his vet bills!.....

im in perthshire scotland
If you get Housing Benefit and Council Tax benefit you may qualify for help.

If you put your details into this page - http://www.pdsa.org.u...-vet-care/eligibility - the answer page will give you a list of vets (towards the bottom of the page). The three main vets in Perth give treatment under this scheme.
missy!.......I know it's a CA

Oh missy, there must be an RSPCA nearby, if not a PDSA, ask them for help!...sure they will!.............

i went to a vet in perth before i was just going to get them signed up for pdsa just incase but they said that i had to pay for 2 consultations then they will send a report away and pdsa will write to me with a desicion wither to accept my dogs or not :( i think it will take to long the infection is in a few places he is still a happy cheeky dog as he was before i have heard of some home remedies for a yeast infection but i am worried to try them incase it makes me wee man worse :(
missy, i hope you get assistance for your dog.. chris, may i just say you are so very helpful in situations like this .
Chris, you are so helpful!......Hope missy finds a vet!...........her poor dog shouldn't suffer justr because she can't pay for a vet!........So sad!...bed for me now, goodnight!.........
Did you send your application off to the PDSA?

The vets in Perth are good practices so they may be able to advise you further over the phone.
