Just inside the mouth past the lip, and I keep biting on it. Very painful and I think possibly infected. How can I get it to clear up? I am rinsing out with brandy (good excuse) but it wont 'stay' on the affected area, as it is so not clearing up any infection. Help please !

don't stress about it - mouth injuries usually heal very rapidly - keep applying the brandy (better than Ibruprofen but don't tell out resident healer)
I'd use some bonjela on it, just to coat it, put it on before you go to bed.

Thanks rsvp will do.
gengigel Was recommended by my dentist and found it very good
I agree with rsvp, mouth ulcers rarely if ever get infected. It will go on it's own accord.
Take a deep breath and put salt on it. Common or garden table salt. It stings like crazy but it does work!!
