Losing weight.

You can do as many stomach exercises as poss...if the muscles are covered in a layer of fat you'll never be able to see them.
Liposuction....and that is the best way.
Don't eat it in the first place ? Or perhaps a good laxative ?

Or maybe you could try liposuction ?
Hard work and sensible, healthy eating.
Liposuction is a stupid answer. Sorry, but it is.
Liposuction will get rid of the fat straight away, but it won't stop you from getting it again. It's a quick fix.
As already mentioned, forget things like crunches until you've lost the weight. Get down the gym and start cardio training. Once you start losing the inches, you can go onto weights and get that stomach nice and tight.
And yeah, it is hard work, but once you start seeing the results, there'll be no stoping you! Good luck! :)
The poster didn't ask to keep it off.
What happens if you have a fat tum and are skinny in most other places. Sqad's answer is fine in my opinion. It would be the best way.
Agree lottie. Lot's of women collect belly fat after pregnancies...although their diet and exercise regime is good...it can be hard to shift.
And don't I know it, ummmm!!!! ;o)
Liposuction is not the best way and can be life threatening in some cases.
Your bellyfat wasn't accumulated overnight and so will not disappear overnight so invest in a healthier lifestyle by dropping your calories and upping your exercise also using supplements to boost you metabolism will help. What's your weight, hight and age and are you fat all over or just in the belly region?
I take it you've never been pregnant wrongn3mber?
Ummm maybe in another life as I'm male in this one, lol. I was answering the op who's male according to his profile or have I missed something?
I didn't check to be fair...
I am not saying liposuction is good, just that as Sqad (who is a doctor) says it is really the only way to reduce accumulated fat in belly without losing weight elsewhere. I certainly wouldn't have lipo. My own doctor, only last week, told me that the only way to lose fat on your belly is to lose weight everywhere else.

Gyms and excercise plans might tighten your muscles but there is no way you can lose fat from one place only by adopting a healthier lifestyle and exercising more.
Tut tut. :)
Loftylottie that's true you can't spot reduct fat but you can reduce fat as a whole and eventually that would include any abdominal fat.
Which is what I said in my first answer.... :-)
And by that time wrongn3mber I would look gaunt in the face and have skinny legs and arms and would look old and haggard - so I will just put up with my podgy tum !! ;o)
Or suck it out :-)
ummmm - I had a caesarian and they messed my tum up and offered a scar rectification on the NHS which included lipo. Unfortunately, they made everything worse and I have had problems ever since. I won't go into details but I would never ever go under a knife or have lipo again unless it was for health reasons. I now have a hernia along the scar line and muscle problems.
