Hi, I am so sick of the part denture I have to wear that I want implants. I saw my dentist today about this and Iwas quoted £2000 for the first tooth the on a sliding scale less 10% for 12 teeth (upper jaw) this is about £1500.

Ive seen a large advert in the paper about WWW.evodental.com who quote £1200 per tooth and the initial consultation is free, the consultation with my surgery is £80. I live in Poole and the company is in merseyside (looks respectable on the site).

I've also heard about work carried out in India for £2000. I would dearly love your views on this or preferably proffessional guidance. I want my whole top teeth jaw done.
Many thanks.

I can`t help you specifically but one of my colleagues has a house in India (Goa) and he had a fantastic set of veneers done there. They were a lot cheaper than in the UK and a very good job was done too. I have had laser whitening in South Africa for less than half the price than the UK. If I wanted work done on my teeth I would definitely consider going abroad.

Hi J9PUR

Many thnaks for that I'm printing it off now, appreciated.
Hi,
I live in Spain and it is much cheaper here - afraid I cant quote you figures, however have heard that it is much cheaper than the UK. Incidentally I am not talking about dentists on the coast ie Marbella - Puerta Banus. I am talking about inland. I live in Granada, and have heard nothing but good re Spanish dentists. From basic fillings - tooth whitening - gum disease treatment etc, all much cheaper. I wish I had known this some 7 years ago, it cost me £3000.00 to sort out a gum problem - needless to say a sore point !! No pun intended. My local dentist also speaks perfect English.
Hope this is maybe of some help to you.
I am also considering this. The trouble is, there's a slight chance the implants may not take and have to be redone. That would mean returning to India (for instance), which might end up making it more expensive than doing the whole thing in the UK. (In fact my sister's recommended a good place in Bangkok for about a third of the UK price; but I think it's just too far to go.)
