Well money-wise can't think of any.
But the first smile from my baby grandaughter was priceless.
So too was the day I got the "all clear" after I had suffered Bowel Cancer.

I won a digital camera in a free prize draw from Norwich Union (as it was then)
but, like Jem, the first smiles from the boys and the grandkids were absolutely priceless. The best freebie ever - my first date with Sylvia - didn't cost me a penny.
I once won a top of the range Sharp microwave and £1,000 worth of Iceland vouchers.
just got to go to exeter and see my mum this weekend,t hat was a freebie, sort of
A holiday to Egypt. Well technically not a freebie, least that's not what it was called, it was called an "educational" from work. I worked in a travel agents at the time and these educationals were doled out occasionally and names were drawn out of a hat- luckily for me I got Egypt :-)
I - as a music journalist - was invited to a product launch at Alton Towers in the 80's. The product was a brand new design radio cassette recorder - Go West were there to promote it, loads of national papers, and tv crews.

To make the most of it, they decided that the film crews would film the band and journalists riding the 'Corkscrew' which was the state-of-the-art ride at that time. The reward was a radio cassette recorder each - free.

So while all the London-based journos were muttering and rolling their eyes, i was on my way out to the ride. I only live fifteen miles from Alton Towers, I had ridden the Corkscrew loads of times, and loved it, and would have enjoyed another queue-jumping free ride anyway, so being given a new toy for that was just a bonus!
Lots of free holidays and air travel back in the 70's when we both worked for airlines.

However, just looking out across my back window and watching the wildlife and country walks and living in an area that I love is all free and better than anything money can buy.
I don't think that people who work for airlines get such perks these days!!
Corrr, Go West, now there's a blast from the past. Did you sing We Close Our Eyes, as you went on the ride Andy?
Bet TA's dont anymore either Lottie. I remember we got lots of "Educationals" I got one of the better ones, but the biggest and best one's we got offered were the Florida ones.
Freebies?

I thought you "moral lot" on AB frowned on "freebies?"

Prince Andrew....Tony Blair....Sir Paul Stephenson....Fergie Mandelson.etc......unless they were YOUR "freebies"

Me? I have always paid for what i got.
We used to just turn up at the airport if we we had a couple of days off work and hop on a plane where there were spare seats. Sometimes we came back with a different airline (still free). And we could walk about the airport quite freely and even wander around airside without seeing any security.

This was at Luton Airport!! Ha, ha.

Times have changed.
"..unless they were YOUR "freebies""

Zakly.
I purchased a video recorded from Littlewoods catalogs once that went wrong within two weeks, so I was told to send it to some repair centre somewhere or other, a few weeks later they informed me that they would have to order the parts as they weren't in stock. Not being to happy about this as I'd ordered a new VCR I wanted a new one not a repaired one so I cancelled the order and forgot all about it.
Six months later the repair centre telephoned to say that my VCR had been repaired and when would you like it to be returned.
Result new VCR for free.
Karma got me though a few months later at Christmas when a pint of lager was knocked over completely destroying it.
Oh well.
I bet you could have had a free op. in a private hospital courtesy of one of your mates though Sqaddy ;o)
crikey, 6 months to repair a video? LOL
Got a free washing machine once.

Wrote a cheque for it and realised months and months later that the cheque never had been processed. It was a grotty machine anyway and didn't last long!
I did Boo!

Just as we went into the first drop, i could clearly be heard warbling - "We close our eyeeeeeaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!"
which I don't think was the original lyric, but I managed to reach an unfeasibly high note, and hurt my throat doing it!
Lofty....LOL...one mate did my right hip replacement and another mate my left hip......they both billed me as i was in PPP.
Operated on mrs sqad and sent her a bill.......
Who operated on Mrs Sqad - you!!!??? And you sent her a bill;o)
