Are you dehydrated?

I try to drink plenty of water Jules. If it is down to dehydration then I'll try to drink more.

Hi Pasta, great to see you. Mine do the cruly thing as well. Painful isn't it?

Work is pretty busy. I'm in charge of customer service and I head the complaints team now so no rest for me. Its pretty hard going as its totally different to what I was doing before. the dirty nappies when I get home just round the day off nicely! Lol

Didn't think anyone would notice I wasn't around but nice to be missed though xxx
ive missed you..... how is the baby ?
Are you on a low-salt diet? Insufficient salt in people's diets can be linked to cramps.

Hi again Anne, aww thanks xxx

Babes is very well thanks. We had a big birthday party for him on 22nd May. Birthdays will be a much smaller affair from now on! Lol
Definitely noticed tigs... ;-))

Glad to know the job is going well, and keeping you busy. Little tigs will be out of those diapers before you know it...either that or teach him to use the washer...!

Hi Chris, I tend not to add any salt to my food apart from when I have a fry-up from our works canteen which is once a week. I'm usually very thirsty for the rest of the day after that.

Lol Pasta, I'll have to teach him to load the dishwasher as well. lol

Anywho, thats my time up. All too brief but hope to be back soon.

Byeeeee xxx
My husband gets cramp sometimes during the night, and has found it quite beneficial to stand on a cold floor (this was advice I found in an old book) so he goes hobbling off and stands on the uncarpeted floor in the bathroom till he gets some relief from the pain.
Sounds wierd but it seems to help
Have a bottle of quinine with a gin in it.
From what I have read in the past, no one really knows what causes cramps and also don't really know how to stop them.
Difficult problem and I do not know the answer.

I don't suppose that you are taking thyroxine?
As previously suggested, a little sat and quinine tend to do the trick. A pinch of salt in a glass of tonic water. Before you buy the tonic water, make sure that it has quinine in it, there are a lot of fakes around now.
