Could me several things, best get checked with doctor asap but yes it can be sign of a stroke (amongst other things). Hope you get it sorted soon.

How old are you?
What medication are you taking?
Have you any other ongoing medical problems?

It is extremely unlikely to be a stroke......don't worry.

i have a lump underneath jaw bone ive had it for years but this morning its sore/ tender to touch.... im assuming this is thyroid?.... at hospital for fertility issues they ask me if i had any thyroid probs and i said no.... so do i have a thyroid prob and if so how is it linked to fertility?.... thanks hope you can answer
No it's not a thyroid lump....it could be a salivary gland.....going out for breakfast now, but will be back in an hour and a half to give it further consideration and advice.
Fine..

There is is no obvious connection between the the problem that you are having with your left hand and the lump under your jaw.

The lump under your jaw ......if it is attached to the skin it may well be a sebaceous cyst (unlikely) but if you can move the lump independent of the skin then it is almost certainly a submandibular salivary gland.

Monitor the situations of the hand and the lump for the next 48 hours and by then the importance of either will be much clearer.
A few years ago I had a swelling come up below my jaw, it turned out to be a problem with a lymph node, not dangerous but had it removed anyway.
