This is rather a lengthy read - but what do you think?

Is anyone really that surprised?
He's evens.

I have great difficulty in believing that Susan Boyle was "invited or preferred"
This doesn't surprise me in the slightest - throughout all of these things you see some form of manipulation to "guarantee" that what those spending the money want, they get. As for the comment about Subo, I only scan read the article but I didn't see her name mentioned, and I do - to some extent - think she was a genuine find. If I recall rightly she didn't win as such.

At the end of the day though Simon is about making money from other people, and I wouldn't put it past him to exploit where he needs to.

Postdog sorry your right she never won did she, got beat by some dance group.

Don't watch these so was confused. SueBo was the only time I was remotely interested
Don't really watch any of them but I do vaguely recall rumours of this with previous singing shows, that sactswere already signed or had been intvited. Not very surprised. Partly the reason I don't watch any of them, that and the money made from public voting (which I don't trust either!)
I'm not sure I believe it really? Would ITV really risk deceiving it's audience or keeping us from things such as Ronan's signing with Simon? They have to remain transparent don't they, after controversy of phone voting etc...

I'm not sure about it really?

Pinkypie - I can understand your scepticism, but apparently ITV doseem to have selected certain acts. And not always 'unknowns' who are looking for a break into entertainment.

Jay Worley has also appeared on X-Factor. Wonder why Simon didn't recognise him.

and Jean Martyn is a fully established International Star!

AND two of boy group ‘New Bounce’ are appearing in Thriller in London’s West End.

Not totally honest, is it?
who won ? I cant be bothered to watch it.
Yes it would appear things aren't as transparent as they make out! I realize these people want to make it big and I have no problem with them already having exposure, but it's not being given the full story that gets my goat up!

Well, well! Not much point voting really!
lets face it, its all fixed.

yesterdays x factor auditions was so staged that the audience were begged not to leave apparently!
I suppose as long as they don't admit to the final winner being a dead cert, they can say the voting still counts.
I know Les Gibson has been on telly a few times before, he lives over the road from me, although he hasn't been for a while so I reckon he's legit. His missus used to cut my hair (when I had some), incidentally, she's fitter than Amanda Holden so I'd think he was only messing when he said she best watch out!
Really? Gosh I must be so naive! I never thought it could be fixed like this, but then again, if I think about it, why on earth did they put half of the crap they have put on to compete with good ones? that dog last night.............. honestly??
I'm not surprised although I am saddened. Also the same with bribes everywhere, why is everyone so surprised, it goes on in all countries and companies.
I've just read tghrough all of that and it sounds totally plausible but could just as easily be a set-up. I don't like the boy singer, he would be a wasted winner, as i agree that his 'shelf-life' will be poor. If it is a fix, the show won't carry on as too many people will realise it is a fix. Opportunity Knocks and New Faces were just the same though, they were decades ago too
It's been removed.......... I wanted to read it.
