Elderly people should take up T'ai Chi, say academics

Elderly people should take up the gentle martial art of T’ai Chi for the sake of their physical and mental health, according to academics.

A new study has found that the ancient Chinese exercises, enjoyed by millions of people every morning, can help pensioners avoid falling injuries and boost their psychological well-being.

or be like my 88 year old grandad and run marathons! He done the Chester Half marathon on Sunday and was too hot so he ran half the race with his running vest off! First time I've seen him and thought "that needs ironing!".
Good on your grandad, bless him.
Once again not a News Question, rather a Body & Soul Question.
