Can you still wear contacts thoughout pregnancy? Someone told me no, because your eyes change shape because of increased fluid levels?

Thanks in advance!

It may be an idea to book an appointment with your optician, as your eyes can change shape and you may need to adjust your prescription. I wore contact lenses with no problems when I was pregnant with my kids.
I wore my lenses throughout both my pregnancies and had no problems whatsoever

I wore my contact lenses throughout both of my pregnancies with no problems - never even occured to me not too!
Because of hormonal changes, dry eyes and water retention during pregnancy, your vision may be altered. Common problems are increased dryness, spots, distorted vision, blurred vision, or even hemorrhages in the eye. Contact lens wear can be reduced to lessen these problems, or lenses can be avoided completely during pregnancy. Your eye care professional can discuss these possible problems with you, and give you choices to meet your visual correction needs during pregnancy...
The only thing I've read is that during labour you probably don't want to wear them because the hot air in the hospital can dry out your eyes and make them uncomfortable.
