Running

Gym

Mountain biking
Swimming.
Gym (but only with my i-pod on loud so I can sing along & lose track of time, otherwise I find the gym tedious).
Cycling (into town to meet mates for drinkies, or over to Tara-ra-bum-ti-eh's house for drinkies)
Gardening. But only the nice bits with flowers - weeding is tedious also.
And strenuous sex. But it has to be with the right person or else I'd rather read a book.
I would love to dance or cycle, but my arthritis won't allow it. I enjoy walking whenever I can - so take long country walks quite regularly.
Oh and gardening, I suppose it is exercise and had never thought of it that way.
I love to put a great beaty cd on and dance around the room. Good job no one can see into our lounge as sometimes Im just in my PJs or less and then go and have a nice shower

But very painful I should think.
Walking and sex - as much of each as possible, but not at the same time.

They're my favourite too, gingejbee, - agreed, not at the same time.
exercise!!! I will google it, im sure ive heard that word before somewhere, I think my GP mentioned it at some point.
RATTER ... remember ...

WALKING to the pub

LIFTING heavy glasses of beer (that's why you should never buy a half ... you lose the exercise benefit)

PUMPING the igniter on your cigarette lighter

Etc.
Getting dragged about a field or a beach by kites.
JJ, I don't drink or smoke!! I need to start obviously!!
Yes, RATTER.

You are missing out on exercise opportunities.

(Goes off to Google the unfamiliar expression ... "I don't drink")
Powerkiting is great exercise and something I want to try once I've lost enough weight....at the moment I'd need a kite the size of the O2 arena
