ok i'm currently in india travelling and thik my hair is turning green. before i came out here i had colured blonde hair but i thought that it'd be sensible to die it dark brown so when my roots came through they would be less noticable. i had this done at a salon. now i think my hair has green tinges. i've been using aveda shampoo which has natural colourant in it to help but still the green persists.... what should i do?

I heard that rubbing in either red wine or tomato ketchup neutralizes the green tinges in hair, make sure you rinse out well though!
It is fairly well known that humidity causes havoc with hair colourants. I would suggest you visit an Indian hair-dresser and use a local product Henna which is a red brown colour. If all else fails, make sure you stand next to green foliage for the photo shooting.
Yes definitely something with tomato ie tom paste or ketchup.  I have a swimming pool and bleached hair, so rely on a lot in summer - it works.
If you use a swimming pool your hair can very quickly turn green. Not sure how you remedy it though.
