My granddaughter is a tall, very slim 7 year old. Over the Christmas / new year period she had two bad bouts of sickness but is thank goodness on the mend now, but still looks fairly pale and has lost a bit of weight. Any suggestions as to what is best to help build her up again. She cant really afford the weight loss, so need to build her up asap.
Thanks in advance.

Yes.....get that weight loss and pallor checked out by your GP and then get back to us.
Have you tried Minadex, Our 7yr old daughter sounds the same, she has a very slight build so when she is ill it always seems to take longer for her to recover.

Sqad, She was in hospital for the first bout as she complained of stomach pains but nothing untoward was found after being examined by a surgeon and having an xray. Then she was taken to GP with the second bout which was much milder, doctor did not seem too concerned as there had been so many cases around here.
She is generally bright and active now, and is a very fair skinned child anyway. Just feels like she needs building up.
Also I should say after she got the first bout of sickness, I then got it, then after that Mum got it, so I think thats why she got it back.
sanden....fine.

Then a normal diet and MrIncredible´s advice should do the trick.
