Can I small bitch mate with a large dog?

I have a small bitch, and was wondering if it was possible for her to get pregnant by a large dog that she was with when in season?

if he locked on her, tho not receommended as bitch would have difficulty birthing the pups.

Seriously though, if she has, she may have problems and you may need a vet to either terminate or deliver by caesarian, depending on the size differential. If you think she is pregnant, best get her checked out.

thanks for your advice, i dont think she is pregnant, but it's a bit too early to tell, so maybe the vet is the answer, thank you.

Of course its possible. Can a small woman get pregnant by a large man? If you know the date the vet can give an injection to prevent then pregnancy (sometimes two jabs required two weeks apart). If you don't know the date then you will have to wait and see and as above, get the vet to check her and prepare for a C Section (could be as much as £800, so hope you are flush). You could also lose the bitch. Suggest you get her spayed so this cannot happen again.
