My dad just asked me if I have. Now when anyone ask 'have you lost weight?' or says 'oooh you've lost weight' Do you take it as a compliment or think 'was I really that fat before?'

exacatly looby, if they say it in a nice way, I think oh I must have looked fat before, but if they say it in a 'oooh dear you've lost so much weight' then I guess you didnt need to lose it in first place
I lost loads of weight and no one noticed until I lost 2 stone. I just say yes, or thanks. I dontt ake it as an insult as I have just got to a point where I dont care what other people think about the way I look. As long as I feel confident and I can give my OH errrm a rise then Im happy.

$get if you;re dad is anything like mine, Id take it as a compliment that he's noticed anything about you at all.
Lol Redcrx, I used to get "you've got such a pretty face" : I grrrrr
people say it to me all the time when i haven't lost any at all or have even gained a few pounds.

i think they are dropping hints.
haa im the same, especially if someone says "your looking well" i think does that mean i looked ugly and rough before lol..................women
