If you were to pull ligaments in your wrist should the patient have it strapped up so it should heal up rather than having it not strapped up and not heal right

I would ave thought that if a ligamentous damage to the wrist was diagnosed, then a splint or cast should be applied and worn for 3to 4 weeks.

well thats what i thoguht but theres a kid at work whos damaged ligaments in his wrist and doesnt have any kind of support on it which to me is a bit odd as it would heal better with some support
