My son in law was told he had a severe muscle spasm in his neck and we put it down to the job he does as a painter and decorator, he was prescribed a cocktail of tablets to take and had to go back yesterday, the pain had came back, so they inserted a camera through his nose to investigate, they have told him he has a 'lump' on the muscle and will have to see a surgeon which he isn't able to do until his GP recommends this, he has gone there today to see the GP, I am sooo worried and have hardly slept

Sorry to hear of your concerns Bobbi. We often take our health for granted and when things go wrong it is only then we realize how precious it is.
Try not to worry unnecessarily otherwise your own health could suffer as a result.
Everything is in its early stages and I'm pretty sure there will be a good and positive outcome once he sees the surgeon.
Best wishes to your Family and be positive !

sqad you have no idea how grateful I am to see your answer, thank you, it is when a tumour is spoken of, and he was reassured that this was the medical term for 'lump' when the the medical staff were speaking to the surgeon,
the word itself sets alarm bell going...again, thanks sqad
im going now mutha but i hope all turns out well xxxxxx
Thinking of you at this worrying time Joy. (((((((HUG)))))))

Gotta dash out now but will look back in later, hoping for good news. x
Just come on and wandering abur the sections, Joy - this explains your 'feeling low post' over in CB.Hopefully, you will get some good news soon.

I can worry myself into a frenzy about family when they're perfectly healthy. Just my nature and my poor husband just has to put up with me until I come out of it.
