Nose bleed...well morelike a bloody nose!

Well, not really a nose bleed but... blew my nose this morning and quite a bit of blood came out, just from my left nostril though and since then I feel like ive got pressure in my head.

could anyone explain this at all, could it have something to do with my sinuses? not had a cold flu thou.

Irritated and inflamed mucous membranes from colds, allegies, etc. Could be down to lots of things and very common. The pressure in your head could be down to blocked ears again due to the same things.

It could be the weather too, all this going out in the cold and coming into centrally heated homes can dry your mucous membranes out, making them more prone to irritation and bleeding.

Thanks you two, took a couple of sinus tablets and the pain has seemed to ease off and no bleeding since. thanks again x
