I have been trying for baby number 2 for 2 years, having fell pregnant straight away first time round. Is it possible for fallopian tubes to just block, or does there have to be a cause, such as surgery, or that they have always been blocked? Thanks

There is ALWAYS a cause for one or both of the Fallopian Tubes to be blocked.

Try Googling Causes of Blocked Fallopian tubes and you will find the list of causes.
Hi Pottyone. Well if your fallopian tubes'd always been blocked, you wouldnt've managed the first pregnancy, but as Sqad says, there's always a reason for it, but only your doctor and gynaecologist can sort out the problem out. All the best anyway.
