My husband and I are travelling to Australia and Japan in April.  Do we need any special immunisations for either Country please

According to www.traveldoctor.co.uk tetanus and polio vaccinations are recommended, but no evidence is required for entry into these countries.

I went to Asia 2 years ago, thinking my Yellow Fever and Tetanus jabs would be enough, my doctor told me otherwise and I ended up forking out �300 at a local clinic for jabs and tablets. For australia, you need 2 injections, one against the Sramponbabbi virus and the Blidipom virus. I can't remember the Japan ones, check with your medick.
