Kidney Stones are weird.

I had a kidney stone removed almost two years ago. It was an emergency op as my kidney was about to pop.

Anyhow, I was a coffee freak. I couldn't get enough. I loved it. After the operation 18 months now i think. I haven't touched a drop and can't stand the smell of it. In fact the smell makes me want to gag.

Has anyone else heard of this happening ?

Yes, it happened to me a long time ago. When at college I used to drink coffee all the time, usually black with sugar, as it was more convenient. Afterwards I went back to tea and found that the smell of coffee, especially with milk, make me feel ill. That feeling will wear off after a while, but personally I still detest the taste of coffee.
'er indoors loves tea, but couldn't bear it when she was pregnant.
