I was just wondering does anyone suffer from collitis or pancreatitis ??(i know I have probably spelt them wrong).

Any advice on what to eat and what not to eat would help. It is just that my boyfriend suffers from these and has been in hospital for about a week every month since September. He was even in intensive care last time which was just awful.

He hasn't drunk any alcohol for the last three months so hopefully his body will just get better and he won't suffer from any more bouts. He is not feeling well today and needs to be near the loo. I think he is anxious about taking time off sick but being well is more important.

Does anyone else have any experience of this??? any help or info would be greatly received as i love him so much!!. He does have an appointment to see a consultant but it keeps getting cancelled. He is just drained from suffering from this condition.

Any advicce would be grate x

He suffers from both
My husband was rushed into hospital once with acute pancreatitis. He wasn't much of a drinker and recovered very quickly from it.
However he was advised by the consultant never to touch alcohol as the pancreas becomes ultra-sensitive to it. That was 15 years ago and he has never had a drop since. Food wise he wasn't told to avoid anything.
With chronic pancreatitis it may be different.....where's sqad?! He's the medical expert on here.
