how long does pain last after injury

I got badly beaten up by an ex 2 years ago and my thigh is still painful to touch.....should it still be like this after such a long period of time? i got punched full out about 20 times in the same place by a 16 stone man...but i would have thought by now the bruise would have healed(he was reported to the police by the way...) thanks for any answers x

If its still feels lighty sore when pressing on it quite hard then that's normal provided the beating was rather severe, however if the bruising is to the extent where it is sensitive to the slightest touch then there's a cause of concern, so I'd advise you to see your doctor about it if that's the case.

dont worry foxyroxy141 - I have a lot of pain in my body due to a shooting, cuppla car crashes, broken arms and broken leg and falls and my doctor told me once you have injured somewhere there will always be pain and he is right cos I this pain about 10-12 years now - dont worry just take pain relief.
