Swollen ankles dilemma

For the last few weeks, I have had swollen ankles and my achilles heels ache all the time. I first put it down to the heat in the office but it is nowhere near as hot now and they are like it every day and painful. Does anyone know what this can be or possible cause? Never had it before.

Having done a recki of the internet, it would seem Toxemia is mostly diagnosed when pregnant, that I am deffinitely not, so will go see the doc asap. Thanks TB
