I found out a couple of weeks i have a chronic abscess i have an appointment on Thursday next week to discuss this at the dental hospital (second appointment - first one took xrays etc) I was referred to them by my dentist as he suspected a cist after trying 2 courses of antibiotics. The thing is i am now 7 weeks pregnant, and the lump has come up very big and has a white head on it, should i wait till thursday or do i need to go as an emergency patient?

Diagnosis seems to be in doubt between dental cyst and chronic abscess. In either case, the worst scenario is that the "white head" is signalling that the condition (cyst or abscess) may resolve itself. Waiting until Thursday will do no harm, and either way will not influence your pregnancy, so please do not worry or get agitated.

Thanks Sqad617 I just seem to be worrying more than usual about things, guess its a pregnancy side affect.

Also just had a thought, i have been feeling sick and put it down to morning sickness (all day!) lol. yet i have never had morning sickness with my other 3 children could this be the abcsess??
Well, I suppose it could be Fairie, but it is more likely to be your pregnancy, even if the sickness is different from last time. Cheer up eh!
