warts

hi guys, does anyone know why or what causes some people get warts in their anus(its a family relation) and i know it definitely isnt to do with anal sex. his been to the docs and had the old finger up backside treatment and that's where he found out he had them. any ideas

Anal warts CAN be transferred by sexual activity, but can also spread from other places. i think further tests'd be necessary, to see whether these ARE actually warts or not.
