Could be a number of things including:
- 'white spot lesion' /enamel lesion/decay
- a result of erosion/wear
- enamel hypoplasia
- fluorisis (although this would have been present at tooth eruption and not occur spontaneolsy)
- enamel fracture
- surface stain
advice:
- go to the dentist

thank you for your help mrlxa..i intend for her to see the dentist when it opens again.
I have been told before that white marks on the teeth and/or nails can be a sign of calcium deficiency. However I have no idea whether this is in any way accurate. Might be worth googling though?
