im currently going through alot of problems, and have had a bad head ache for a few days now and sometimes i find it hard to breath and have to sigh every so often, this i think is due to the amount of stress at the moment.
anyway, i used my dads blood pressure gadget and it says i am 185 over 168 what do these numbers mean? and should i be worried?

if that is what the blood pressure thingy said then it is either broke or you need to see a doctor ASAP! Normal would be about 120 over 70.
kitten_uk2 don't ignore this reading it really is dangerously high. Are you sitting down and taking a number of deep breaths before taking a reading? If so like daffy564 says best see your doctor ASAP

i will be going round to my mums soon to have another go on the blood pressure thing. the thing is, it may be high but at the moment my problems are so bad i dont think it will be coming down anytime soon. i glanced at the information sheet and i think it said it was high. but what does it mean? are the symptoms im showing from high blood pressure or just stress. what will the doctor do?
as others have said, see your GP asap
high blood pressure is called hypertension, it may be stress related hoewver, get it checked.
I googled your BP and got http://content.karger.com/ProdukteDB/produkte. asp?Aktion=ShowPDF&ProduktNr=224269&Ausgabe=22 9889&ArtikelNr=76145&filename=76145.pdf
If your blood pressure reading is consistently high then your doctor will need to find a cause for this,in the meantime they will put you on medication to control it. The difficulty breathing could be related to high blood pressure as the effects on your heart and lungs are really quite dangerous. High blood pressure is not something to ignore as it is a serious life threatening problem.
high blood pressure generally shows no symptoms, which is why it is known as the silent killer. your symptoms sound more like stress, which by itself can put your blood pressure up.
you really do need to go and see your doctor, those readings are far, far too high. if your stress can be managed then you may find the blood pressure comes down, or your doctor may consider prescribing blood pressure reducing medication. whatever, go and get it sorted.
