I've never been one to get many spots even in my teenage years but all of a sudden I've got loads of tiny spots all over my chin and side of my face. some are hard and itchy, anybody know what this could be and how I can get rid

My boyfriend's suddenly started getting spots on his chin and jaw too. He dabs some TCP on them with a cotton bud and it works great. I'd advise that or something similar like Witch Hazel or pure Tea Trea oil.
Sudocreme works quite well too.
I though it was just me. I have more acne now than when I was a wee teenager. LOL I use cetaphil as a cleanser and an astringent like clean and clear. It also is on my jawline and neck. Ick.
I assume you are female! I have always had spots but not acne and I saw a dermatologist who gave me the best advice and wish I had seen her when I was younger.

1. Keep skin clean, cleansing 2 - 3 times daily.
2. If you can avoid make-up do.
3. Exfoliate at least once a week.
4. Drink plenty of water (this really does work!).
5. Dont pick.

6. And most importantly use oil free face washes and moisturizers and alcohol free toners with OIL FREE MAKE-UP.

Switching to oil free make up has changed my skin so much for the better, my skin can breath for the first time and my complexion is glowing for the first time since I was about 9 years old!
