Does anyone know anything about nutralising dogs wee wee,
I have the most adorable Westie, but my lawn have got brown patches all over it,

Someone said you can buy rocks to put in their drinking water,
Can you throw any light on the subject, or anything that might help.

My friend tried the dog rocks and said they didnt work

but obviously they have worked for some people.
there is another product called green um

You could also try tomato sauce which is supposed to neutralise the ammonia in the dogs urine
We used to keep taking out the brown patches and re seeding, but a never ending job in a large lawn. We opted to remove all the lawn and lay slabs but kept our lovely borders and trees. Much cleaner in the winter, as our lawn resembled a speed way track!!
oops, sorry, the one link didnt work properly
this is for the green um tablets

yes i had the same,i bought fresh pets, its a spray ,i put 1spray on the dogs food,it neutralises the dog urine, its also excelent for the dogs breath.
I just remembered that my husband used to follow the dogs around the garden with a watering can and when they weed he used to dilute the urine by pouring water on the area, it did work but needs a quite bit of dedication though, and difficult when you have more than one dog.
i dt kno how 2 fix the lawn but after u find out u may want 2 get a "pee post" which smells of dogs urine and attracts the dog 2 go to it instead of the lawn .. u simply put it in a corner nd hopefully ur dog will take 2 it!! x
My dogs are trained to go in 1 particular area of the garden, I have left the grass to grow wild there, I don't like the thought of adding anything to food or water, at the end of the day we choose to have dogs so we have to put up with 'inconveniences' associated with dog ownership. Anything put into food and water must have chemicals of some kind in them, so not what I would want to do.
