Right i've know got the good ol' "Swollen Ankles" syndrome. My feet become exhausted after walking a short distance and sort of 'heat up'.

REALLY annoying. I feel like a fat, unhealthy lump of lard now - mainly because i'm usually quite an active person.

How you girls coping? Any new pregnancy symptoms you've picked up? x

I'm 31 wks now and have really bad back ache, the baby is lying on the sciatic nerve, I can't walk too far as it's agony. Doesn't help that hubby is in Iraq for the next 5 months!!!

But apart from that, everything Ok.

Good luck nat, won't be long now!

aww bonbon i know how you feel with the whole back ache thing. And was just reading up on Sciatic as i THINK i also have this problem. My right leg tends to go dead as soon as i start walking, first i thought was it may be due to the problems i've had with my knees (they both have ligament/catilage problems) but then read about another woman who was pregnant who had similar problems. So i'll bring this up with the GP when i next see her.

Awww bless you're poor husbund. That must really difficult for you all. He'll back back before you know it though - so chin up ;0) x
swollen fingers and feet and I'm only 18 weeks. I have a baby that thinks it's a gymnast already. Doesnt sit still.
Thanks nat xx
my baby is in a really strange position and my belly looks like a cone!! LOL its also very pain full, ive got the backache along withe swollen ankles and heart burn, oh the joys of pregnancy!! However Im having him next Tuesday so I will cope!! How many week are you nat?
Hi nat sweetie , awww bless :-)
You have got to that "I'm fat and unattractive " stage . All the delights like dead leg , indigestion , wind , and swollen fingers and ankles.
I trust your midwife / obs. is keeping an eye on how much swelling you have , like taking blood pressure and a urine sample regularly .
You must be in or nearing your last trimester by now are you nat , so , on the home straight eh . :-) xx

Good luck yummymum!!!

I'm 36 weeks + 2 days!! Just want her to get here now... getting a bit fed up and miserable. :o( or i just want to move house!! Move out on 30th... that will give me something to do... something to pass the time...!

Hi bigmamma... thats the exact stage i'm at unfortunately... not much fun but i was warned that it gets more difficult and drags when you're reaching the end! xxx
Hi nat. I'm 37+3 today and want this to be over!
Swelling not too bad. I find I get pain in my pelvis rather than my feet when I walk. Spud keeps head-butting my cervix which is very off-putting and makes me jump and wince, very difficult to explain while standing in the queue in Sainsbury's!

My heartburn hasn't reduced at all. In all the books I've read it says that once baby has engaged, the heartburn should reduce cos there's more room up top. Its LIES I tell you, LIES!

Have started drinking raspberry leaf tea, its quite nice but haven't felt any strong Braxtons yet. Its only 1.20 for 20 bags in Holland & Barratt, I was expecting it to cost a fortune.

bonbon, my hubby was in M.East for the first 20 weeks. It was hard but at least he doesn't have to go again for another few years. You know we're here if you need a whinge.

Take care. Not long now xx
