Lately I've eben feeling very lethargic during the day which Im certain is down to my fibre-poor diet as I dont eat fruit or vegetables. My diet consists of processed foods, plenty of white rice, bread and pasta with meat like chicken and beef. I also smoke although not much (3 a day) but Im sure it contributes towards my lethargic feeling. My question is what foods have been proven to boost energy throughout the day? Is it just a case of having a banana here and there? Should I cut out all white carbs and turn to wholemeal? Im scepticle about certain type of foods being good for you as claimed.

you need to eat lots of fresh fruit and veg and to cut out the processed foods. Also some excercise will make you feel better.

There are some good ideas here.

To excuse the innuendo, get your oats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slow energy release, fibrous, low fat, fights cholestral. The first and truly believable super-food.
