Nasal strips to control breathing.

Has anyone used these and are they any good? To me they look like an elastoplast, could they be used instead?

i think the strips have got more of a spring action then plasters so they hold the nostrals open, and i think plasters might have the opposite effect and restrict the air flow. but mayb you could try it and find :D
I use them frequently (at bedtime). Butterfly's right - it's the spring action that helps keeps sinuses open. I've got a lot of sinus congestion and a deviated septum, and the strips do help me breathe easier with decreased congestion. They're not perfect, but give a noticeable improvement.

I wonder where the best place to buy them from. Went into Boots and other chemists but could not spot them on the shelves?
