pregnant or phantom??

please help! i really want my dog to be pregnant! shes big round the middle and feels tight, her nipples have also increased in size and are redder. if she is pregnant she's on day 47 (around 8 weeks).

How can if she is actually pregnant or whether it is phantom? without taking her to the vets?

we didnt see them coupled, but they were not separated when she was in season.

any help very much appreciated.

All the signs are there, but if she is only on day 47 she is only just under 7 weeks, so still a while to go. Not much you can do either way, but I would have thought if it was a phantom she would be 'nursing' phantom puppies by now - carrying toys off to her bed or even your socks. They tend to go straight into the 'nursing' mode rather than the looking pregnant bit - and it usually happens at about the time the pups would have been due rather than during the 9 weeks leading up to it.

she isnt nursing, so maybe she is!!!! oooh i cant wait! xxxx
