They have very good reviews on Trust Pilot. Is there a store local to you so that you can have a test run?
We bought 2 riser recliners from them just after covid and must admit they are not as comfortable now as they were when new. Saying that the settee is comfortable but then that doesn't get much use. We did have some trouble with the chairs when we first had them but after a couple of visits from the repair team they made us 2 new ones.
That's disappointing, shedman, after all they are not particularly cheap chairs.
The chairs cost around £2,000 each. They are reasonable but I wouldn't say they are the most comfortable ones we have ever had. Good though for when my back is bad as the riser is the only way I can get out of it.
A relative who lives on their own was totally taken in by these 'lovely' people and ended up with a plain looking armchair with a footstool for just over £2000. I can't recount the full story because of potential legal reasons, but I would recommend looking elsewhere. Once they get into your home they can be very persistent.
I wouldn't even consider buying such an expensive chair without seeing it and trying it out for a day or two.
I've seen rather nice heated/massage/reclining chairs on a shopping channel at about a third of the above- and if not to your liking, they take it back at no charge.
I bought a recliner which was very expensive. Now I'd look for something cheaper, where the makers don't have expensive stores countrywide.
If you are talll and your feet hang over the extension, they will not stay warm.

hey KristalBee, do you have any suggestions of other places to look?
Emily,if you have some furniture stores nearby, go and try them out.
I made the mistake of buying a recliner chair and had it for less than a year, it just wasn't comfortable.
Emily, I would look at some reputable furniture stores with good face to face customer service and returns policy. If you have a Barker and Stonehouse in your area that’s a good place to start, however even the superstore type stores have decent chairs for under £1000
Question Author
