my son has a darkbrown birth mark on the bottonm of his leg. I'm just wondering if theres any kind of treatment to remove it.

They usually fade with time. I am sure there are lots of cover up (if he dont mind using them) out there in Boots, or Superdrug. If you are very concerned take a trip to the Docs. good luck

Unless it's particularly bothering him then there's not reason to move it. If it's a mole it can probably be removed on the NHS if they think there's a risk it could become cancerous. Birthmarks happen, I'm fine with mine which is a brown blob on my upper thigh. Quite like having a distinctive mark! They do fade though, so don't worry too much.
If he's still young, it'll probably fade it time, as eastender says. My little half-sister was born with a large birthmark on her neck - quite unsightly. She's now 6 and it's almost vanished completely.
